Wounded in an armed attack targeting the commander of the regime forces in Ain Issa

Local sources reported that the commander of the Syrian regime forces in Ain Issa town, north of Al-Raqqa, was attacked with other officers before a meeting with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
"Passnews" website, quoted local sources, stated that unknown persons shot on cars carrying Syrian regime officers, led by "Major General Shawky", commander of the forces in Ain Issa town, while they were west of the town silos on "M4" road.
The source added that the attack led to injury a lieutenant colonel and lieutenant, and they were transferred to Ain Issa Hospital for treatment.
It pointed out that these officers left the "93rd Brigade" to attend a meeting in the town of "Tal Tamr" with the Syrian Democratic Forces to coordinate escort and exiting operations towards regime-controlled areas from Al-Tabqa crossing, which was closed throughout Eid period.
The source pointed out that "SDF" mobilized its military points located in the vicinity of the silos against the background of the incident, while no party has claimed responsibility for the attack until this moment.
